Ernest Doe Team Visits CASE Construction Manufacturing Facility in Lecce

Back from Italy with even greater confidence in the CASE Construction range

Our construction team has just returned from a visit to the CASE Construction manufacturing facility in Lecce, Italy, where they took part in a product familiarisation programme covering a broad range of CASE CE equipment.

Representatives from our Benington, Albourne, Dartford, Ulting and Wymondham branches were joined by colleagues from our service and senior management teams, ensuring a wide range of experience and expertise was represented throughout the programme.

The visit combined classroom-based product training with extensive hands-on demonstrations, giving our team the opportunity to get behind the controls and experience the machines first-hand.

From compact excavators such as the CX12D through to heavy-line machines including the CX130E, the breadth of the CASE CE range on display was impressive. The team also spent time exploring skid steers, backhoe loaders and the latest wheel loader developments, including the new G+ Series, before putting a wide range of machines through their paces.

A factory tour provided a fascinating insight into the engineering, manufacturing and quality control processes behind the machines, reinforcing the investment and innovation that continue to drive the CASE CE product range forward.

Mark Crosby, Divisional Head of Construction, said:

“As we continue to develop our CASE Construction offering across the Ernest Doe network, opportunities such as this are invaluable. Spending time with the CASE Construction team, seeing the manufacturing process and operating the machines first-hand has further strengthened our understanding of the range and reinforced the confidence we already have in both the products and the partnership.”

The CX90 excavator emerged as a clear favourite among the group, with colleagues praising its smooth hydraulics, stability, operator comfort and advanced technology. The 821G+ wheel loader (loading shovel) also attracted plenty of attention, particularly for its Click & Dig functionality and impressive performance, while the 721G+ X-Agri demonstrated the versatility of the CASE CE range beyond traditional construction applications.

The visit reinforced the strengths of the CASE CE range – delivering a premium combination of productivity, efficiency, performance and versatility, supported by an extensive range of attachment options designed to help customers get the most from their machines.

Having spent the week operating and evaluating the machines for themselves, the team returns with even greater confidence in the CASE CE range and renewed enthusiasm for demonstrating these products across the Ernest Doe network.

The learning continues next week, when members of our service team travel to Lecce for their own product and technical familiarisation programme, further strengthening the knowledge and expertise available across the Ernest Doe network.

A huge thank you to the CASE Construction team for their hospitality throughout the week.

With demo machines starting to arrive, and stock on the ground across the Ernest Doe network, we’re ready to build on what we’ve learned and push ahead with the CASE CE range. We’ve already started taking orders so if you’d like to learn more or arrange a demonstration, please get in touch with your local Ernest Doe construction branch.
