After a successful 35-year partnership, Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd and Hyundai Construction Equipment will be concluding their relationship as part of a mutual decision regarding the future direction of both businesses.
We are proud to have been Hyundai UK’s longest-serving dealer and to have achieved many successes together – including being named Dealer of the Year in 2023.
Following open and constructive discussions, both parties have mutually agreed to conclude the partnership. This decision reflects a shared understanding of future priorities and allows Ernest Doe & Sons to focus on developing a construction offering that continues to deliver exceptional service and a strong product portfolio. We value the relationship built with Hyundai and wish them continued success moving forward.
To support customers throughout this transition, Ernest Doe & Sons has worked closely with Hyundai to secure a 12-month run-out period.
Hyundai has confirmed that parts supply and the submission of factory warranty claims will be supported for a further 12 months, and our teams will remain dedicated to assisting customers throughout this time.
Our commitment to the construction sector remains a key priority. We continue to offer a comprehensive portfolio of leading brands, including Thwaites, Bomag, Merlo, Atlas Copco and Epiroc.
We are now in advanced discussions with a number of excavator manufacturers to ensure we continue offering a strong and well-supported construction machinery portfolio that meets the expectations of our customers. We look forward to sharing a further announcement in due course.
