Horticultural Service Advisor

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Horticultural Service Advisor to support the effective day-to-day operation of our Horticultural Service Department at our Head Office in Ulting.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Professional Grass Machinery Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the horticultural service division.  Working closely with the workshop, parts, and warranty teams, you will help deliver an exceptional service experience to our customers while supporting the wider service function.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in, or a strong understanding of, a service department environment
  • Industry experience within horticultural, agricultural, construction, or automotive sectors would be advantageous
  • Proven ability to manage existing customer accounts and develop new customer relationships
  • Confident in handling a wide range of customer expectations with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping, job card preparation, and coordination with Parts and Warranty departments
  • Committed to delivering a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively using own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
  • Demonstrates sound judgement, leadership capability, and the ability to act decisively when required
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, with a positive approach to customer engagement
  • Flexible and comfortable working across both office and workshop environments
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the wider business

Additional Information

  • Start Date:
    Subject to candidates notice period
  • Hours:
    40hrs per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1hr unpaid lunch). Additional hours incl. weekends as per rota especially during peak periods e.g. Harvest may be required.
  • Salary:
    £Competitive, depending upon experience
