Service Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a keen and driven Service Advisor to help manage the service department at our Wymondham branch, based in Norfolk.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient running of the Groundcare service division within our busy workshop as well as providing support to the Service Manager.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Ideally experienced or have an understanding of working within of a service department Experience within the Horticultural, Agricultural, Construction or automotive industry would be beneficial
  • Manage existing customer accounts and build new relationships with customers and be able to deal with a wide range of customers expectations.
  • Maintaining all records efficiently and effectively as required, including preparation of job cards, liaising with the Parts department for prompt service on repairs as well as the warranty department for compliance
  • Provide a superior level of customer service
  • Be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
  • Full driving license is required as you may be asked to visit customers using a company vehicle for some collection and returns of domestic equipment.
  • Have strong leadership skills and be able to act quickly and decisively
  • Strong administrative skills who is organised and has the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
  • Be able to show energy and enthusiasm to engage with customers
  • Be flexible to work in an office/workshop environment and be a team player

Additional Information

  • Start Date:
    Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
  • Hours:
    40hrs per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch).  Additional hour’s incl. weekends as per rota especially during peak periods.
  • Salary:
    £Competitive, depending upon experience plus profit related bonus
  • Benefits:
