Professional Horticultural Service Technician

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Professional Horticultural Service Technician to join the existing team at our Dartford branch, based in Kent.

Role Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with Professional Horticultural machinery this is sold by the company’s sales departments. You will be working with top manufacturers such as Trilo, E-Z-Go, Ransome Jacobsen, Kawasaki, Wiedenmann, GKB and more.

Responsibilities/Essential Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of Utility and/or Garden machinery, or small Agricultural machinery
  • Knowledge of Professional Grass Machinery
  • Repair and maintain equipment associated with Horticultural machinery
  • Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Heavy lifting but apply common sense to items that require assistance
  • Has the ability to work alone using your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Maintain a good general level of health and fitness
  • Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
  • Be self-motivated
  • Full clean driver’s licence

Additional Information

  • Start Date:
    Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
  • Hours:
    39hrs per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday (1hr unpaid lunch) Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39hrs Monday to Friday. Sundays or Bank Holidays will be paid at double time
  • Salary:
    Permanent, Full Time, Hourly Paid
