Precision Farming Product Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Precision Farming Product Specialist to join the existing team at our Head Office, based in Maldon, Essex.

Role Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Precision Farming Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support for Precision Farming products to our existing and new customers. You will also have the responsibility of providing sales support and specialist knowledge on the Precision Farming equipment and telematics solutions to the company’s sales team and customers. This will include carrying out focused training to customers and colleagues, but also travelling to customers to demonstrate precision farming products and telematics to show them the capabilities and features.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of working with tractors, combines and self-propelled machines
  • Previous experience of GPS autoguidance, ISOBUS control systems and telematics.
  • Product technical set up skills
  • Experience of using advanced diagnostics tool (EST) and necessary applications
  • Capable of carrying out software updates on machinery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service when performing handovers
  • Optimise all precision farming products and services
  • A team player – capable of working alone and using own initiative or with other team staff
  • Accurate administration skills
  • Be flexible on working hours
  • Full driving licence

Additional Information

  • Start Date:
    Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
  • Hours:
    42.5 hours per week, 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch break) Additional hours as required which may include weekends as per rota especially during peak periods e.g. Harvest
  • Salary:
    £Competitive, depending on skills and experience plus company vehicle
  • Benefits:
