We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Service Advisor who is keen and driven to work alongside and support the Service Manager with Horticultural machinery repairs at our Dartford branch, based in Kent.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the Service office, covering both professional and domestic Horticultural machinery repairs. This includes working with brands such as Ransomes Jacobson, Cushman, Iseki, New Holland, Stihl, Husqvarna and many more.
You will have responsibility for the organisation of Horticultural service staff, customer relations and departmental profitability, whilst maintaining effective communications between management, customers and technicians.
Knowledge of Agricultural, Construction, Horticultural machinery or Groundcare experience (advantageous)
Previous advisory or supervisory experience (desirable, but not essential)
Manage existing customer accounts and build new relationships to increase department growth
Managing customer expectations with regards to increased cost of repairs
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner
Familiar with raising job cards and invoices as required
Good keyboard and PC skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word and Excel
Be organized with the ability to multitask efficiently
Have a flexible and approachable manner
Be self-motivated with the ability to work well with others

42.5 hours per week - 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (1hr unpaid lunch) Saturday mornings required as part of a rota to cover the service office
£Competitive, depending on experience
